The GoFreeCredit Product Reviews: offers users a credit report and credit score. Here is what it includes:

  • Get instant unlimited access to your Credit Score for 60 days online
  • Email notifications of changes to your report or score
  • Access to your Credit Information
  • Details on who has reviewed your Credit Report and Score requires users to signup for a free trial of their credit monitoring to get their credit report and score. They don't say on the site if it's a single or multiple bureau credit history. They use the term free credit score - so it's hard to tell. We suspect that it's a single bureau report.  If users don't cancel within the trial period the cost of the ongoing monitoring service is $14.95 per month. This is fairly inexpensive for a monitoring service compared to other companies at $29.95 and higher.  The service automatically alerts you when there is an action on your credit report. Review of Website:

The GoFreeCredit website is very easy to use and understand. They include a short glossary of terms that are related to the products and services. They also advertise on the site - free tips and articles on how to improve your score. This can be very helpful to users. The website doesn't advertise a contact phone number which is unfortunate. The only phone number we could locate was not toll-free and was only located on the privacy page. There is an email address on the contact us page for users to submit questions or concerns.

The Recommendation:

If you're looking for a single credit report and score - this could be the one for you. It's pretty simple and easy on the website. If you're not interested in the monitoring - make sure you cancel your membership within the first 7 days or you will be billed for the $14.95.  If you are looking for monitoring - then it's a pretty cheap option and could work out well for you.
